Bill Ghan writes in to update us on the Pietenpol now that it is flying.
It was a great day to fly. Berlin flew the Pietenpol twice for the breakfast crowd. Then we worked on installing the ELT most of the day. Here are some photos
EAA CHAPTER 1218'S PIETENPOL WAS FIRST FLOWN TODAY 04-22-10 AT 1:15 PM CDT, IN LIGHT RAIN, AND LATER FLOWN AT ABOUT 4:30 PM, BOTH FLIGHTS BY BERLIN BATESEL. THE FLIGHTS WERE ALL OK WITH NO PROBLEMS.
IT INDICATES 80 AT 2300 AND 70 AT 2150 WHICH IS WHAT THE PROP WAS ADVERTISED TO DO.
